How to Rotate a Video in QuickTime Player
QuickTime is a free tool that comes preinstalled on Mac OS. You’d have probably already used it to record your screen on your Mac computer.
Here are the steps to rotate a video in QuickTime:
- First, open QuickTime. Then click on the File menu from the menu bar at the top. Now select Open File to open the video you want to rotate using QuickTime.
- Once you’ve opened the video in QuickTime, click on the Edit menu from the menu bar at the top. And select Rotate Right or Rotate Left from the dropdown menu. To rotate your video clockwise, select Rotate Right. And to rotate your video anti-clockwise, select Rotate Left.
- Optionally, you can also flip the video if you want to. To flip the video, simply select the Flip Horizontal or Flip Vertical from the same dropdown menu to flip the video vertically or horizontally.
- Once you’re done rotating the video to your desired angle, you can now save the video in this angle on your computer. To save the video, click on the File menu from the menu bar, then select Export As, and finally, pick the resolution you want to export the video in from the resulting dropdown. You can export the video in 480p or 720p.
- Next, you can enter a name for your video using the export as input field and then choose where you want to save your video. Finally, click on the Save button to save your video.

How to Rotate a Video Online On Your Mac Computer

Sign Up/Login and Pick the Dimensions
