Once you have installed VLC on your computer, follow the steps below to remove audio from your video using VLC:

1. Open VLC and then navigate to Media > Convert / Save.
   
   
2. Now click on the Add button in the Open Media window to select the video you want to mute. Then click on the Convert / Save button in the bottom right corner of the same window.
   
   
3. In the Convert window, click on the button with the wrench icon on it as shown in the image below.
   
   
4. In the Profile Edition window, go to the Audio codec tab and untick the Audio checkbox.
   
   
5. From the same window, click on the Create button in the bottom right corner. You’ll now return to the Convert window.
   
   
6. Click on the Browse button to pick a location to save your muted video.
   
   
7. Finally, click on the Start button in the bottom right corner of the app window.

Step 1: Sign Up/Sign In and Pick the Dimensions

To add a voiceover, click on the Video Timeline icon, then click on the Voiceover icon in the bottom left corner of the app screen, and pick an option from the dropdown menu.
