Apple has released iOS 12.3.2 for iPhone 8 Plus. The limited iOS software update appears to resolve an issue where sometimes iPhone 8 Plus would take portrait mode photos but without the software depth effect which blurs the background of the image.
If you do not have iPhone 8 Plus, the iOS 12.3.2 update will not be available to you (yet, anyway).
iPhone 8 Plus users can find and download the iOS 12.3.2 update from the Software Update section of the Settings app on their devices.
As usual it’s a good idea to backup the iPhone to iCloud or iTunes before beginning any software update.
The brief release notes accompanying the download for iOS 12.3.2 are as follows:

iPhone 8 Plus users can also install the update by using IPSW if desired, the link below downloads the firmware file directly from Apple servers:

The most recent final stable build of iOS for most iPhone and iPad devices is currently iOS 12.3.1.
Separately, iOS 12.4 remains in active beta testing as well.
Meanwhile, iOS 13 is under active beta development and will be released to the general public this fall.
