macOS 27 Golden Gate Supported Mac List
The transition to Apple Silicon is the most significant change. Supported models include:

- iMac with Apple Silicon (2021 and newer)

Apple Silicon encompasses any Mac equipped with an M‑series or A‑series processor—M1 through M6, and their Pro, Max, and Ultra variants—as well as A18 or higher. Apple confirmed this requirement during WWDC, stating that only Apple Silicon hardware will support macOS 27.

Are Intel Macs Excluded?
Yes. macOS 27 Golden Gate will not run on any Intel‑based Mac. The last macOS version to support Intel processors was macOS 26 (Tahoe).
