Apple has released the second beta of MacOS Golden Gate 27 (build 26A5368g) to its developer beta program. While the installer and IPSW files are publicly available, we strongly recommend installation only on secondary, non‑production devices.
Beta 2 focuses on performance gains, the new Liquid Glass UI, Apple Intelligence and Siri AI enhancements, as well as refinements to Spotlight, Mail search, and several other system improvements.
In addition, Apple has rolled out iOS 27 beta 2, iPadOS 27 beta 2, watchOS 27 beta 2, tvOS 27 beta 2 and visionOS 27 beta 2.
How to Install MacOS Golden Gate 27 Beta 2
If you’re already enrolled in the MacOS Golden Gate beta, update by following these steps:
- Open the Apple menu and select System Settings.
- Navigate to General > Software Update.
- Choose Update to the latest MacOS Golden Gate 27 beta.
If you’re not enrolled, you’ll need to join the beta program first or download the full installer from Apple’s CDN.
