Even with a modest budget, you can achieve professional‑looking shots by applying the same core principles. For instance, Walt Disney’s The Jungle Book uses a blue screen for the jungle backdrop, and the result is a flawless match between the actor and the CGI environment.

Essential Gear for a Cost‑Effective Green‑Screen Shoot
- Green Screen – A portable, collapsible chroma‑key panel (e.g., KHOMO GEAR) saves space and sets up in under a minute. For short takes where the subject’s feet aren’t captured, a simple green backdrop works well.
- Tracking Markers – Attach lightweight black skin markers to the actor’s face. These provide high‑contrast points that the tracking software can latch onto, improving accuracy.
