Ultimate Guide: Optimal Export Settings for YouTube Videos

## Step 1: Choose the Right Export Settings

When you're ready to export your video for YouTube, you'll need to choose the right export settings. These settings will determine the quality and size of your video file, so it's important to get them right.

To access the export settings, go to File > Export > Media. In the Format drop-down menu, select H.264. This is the most widely-used video format, and it's compatible with YouTube.

Next, you'll need to choose a resolution for your video. The higher the resolution, the better the quality of your video will be, but the larger the file size will also be. For YouTube, a resolution of 1920x1080 (1080p) is recommended.

You'll also need to choose a frame rate for your video. The higher the frame rate, the smoother your video will look, but the larger the file size will also be. For YouTube, a frame rate of 60 fps is recommended.

Finally, you'll need to choose a bitrate for your video. The bitrate determines how much data is used to encode each second of video. The higher the bitrate, the better the quality of your video will be, but the larger the file size will also be. For YouTube, a bitrate of 10,000 kbps is recommended.

Step 2: Export Your Video

Once you've chosen the right export settings, you can export your video. To do this, simply click on the Export button.

The export process may take a few minutes, depending on the length and complexity of your video. Once the export is complete, you'll find your video file in the location you specified.

Step 3: Upload Your Video to YouTube

Now that your video is exported, you can upload it to YouTube. To do this, simply go to the YouTube website and click on the Upload button.

In the upload dialog box, select the video file you want to upload and then click on the Next button.

Next, you'll need to enter some information about your video, such as the title, description, and tags. You can also choose to make your video public, private, or unlisted.

Once you're done entering all the information, click on the Publish button. Your video will then be uploaded to YouTube and it will be available for viewing within a few minutes.
