One of the things that I personally struggle with when it comes to producing video content is color grading. This is especially true when it comes to log profiles and for that reason, I generally just rely on using LUTs that I've bought or downloaded for free.
In the latest video from Colorist Factory, Jay discusses how you can recreate the Joker loo. One of the things that really stands out bout this movie how incredibly well the colors describe the mood and feeling of any particular scene. Using colors to convey emotions and feelings is something that can take a long time to learn. Fortunately, you can actually download and use the LUTs discussed in the video linked above for free. If you watch the video linked above you'll see how to use the LUT correctly and adjust the look depending on what is in the frame. I've actually already spent a little time testing the LUT on some of my own footage and I have to say the results are very good. Although I will continue to learn and develop my color grading skills, using these types of LUTs in the meantime is extremely useful.
