Early this morning Fujifilm announced the Fujifilm X-Pro3, a camera that features the latest technology found in the X-T3, but with a body design that makes shooting with the camera feel like you might be using an old film camera. The camera has a hidden LCD screen, which means that anyone using the camera will have to spend a little more time composing images through the viewfinder.
The X-Pro3 has a titanium exterior—making it one of the most durable Fujifilm bodies ever—and comes in three different colors: classic black, DR black and DR silver. Here is what else is new about the camera:
- Back illuminated 26.1 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor
- X-Processor 4 image processing engine found in the X-T3
- Phase-detection autofocus that works down to -6EV
- Hybrid viewfinder combines OVF and EVF technology, allows you to see outside of the frame
- 3.69M-dot OLED electronic viewfinder
- Hidden 1.62M-dot tilting LCD touchscreen
- Mini display shows essential settings when the LCD is closed
- Weather sealed body
- New Classic Neg. film mode
- Increased control over grain, clarity, and white balance settings
- 8/16bit TIFF output
- Multi-exposure up to 9 frames
The classic black version of the camera will be available at the end of November for $1800. The DR versions will be available mid December for $2000.
