Looping a Song on Spotify – Mobile
If you’re a Premium subscriber, you can easily set any track to repeat on your iPhone or Android device.
- Open the Spotify app and start playing the track you want to loop.
- Tap the track title at the bottom of the screen to bring up the full‑screen player.
- In the playback bar, locate the repeat icon (two circular arrows). Tap it once to repeat the current album or playlist. Tap it a second time to activate “Repeat One”, which will replay the same song endlessly. The icon turns green and a small “1” appears to confirm the setting.
Only Premium users can access the repeat feature on mobile. Free users can still loop tracks on desktop.
Looping a Song on Spotify – Desktop (Windows, macOS, Web)
Repeat is just as simple on the desktop app or web player.
- Launch Spotify and play the track you wish to loop.
- Click the repeat button in the bottom playback bar. Tap it twice to enable “Repeat One”. The button changes to green with a “1” overlay.
- To stop looping, click the button until it reverts to gray.
