Like many of you, we always get a little more excited than decorum dictates around this time of year — not just because the weather is finally improving in our part of the world, but because everyone’s favorite sword-and-sorcery drama is about to return to our screens. Yes, season 5 of Game of Thrones airs in just over two weeks, and as usual, it’s kicked our creative gears into overdrive — which around Shutterstock HQ means a trip back to the realm of Game of Brands.
After our original post envisioning what the Great Houses of Westeros would look like as modern-day corporations, we’ve continued to add to our portfolio of imaginary enterprises — but this time we decided to something a little bit different. With a view toward extending this fantasy corporate network into new mediums, Shutterstock video editor Niko Brown scoured our video and PremiumBeat music libraries to create a series of epic TV commercials for some of the fan favorites in the Game of Brands world. Watch the video below, then scroll on to see the latest business to emerge in this ongoing saga.
If there was one house that made its name known in season 4 — and is set to do so even more in the new season — it’s House Martell. The rulers of Dorne had been spoken of numerous times prior to last year, but it was the prominent appearance of Prince Oberyn Martell that put a face to the family, as well as revealing the swarthy, Dionysian nature of his people. Now, with Oberyn’s daughters, the Sandsnakes, set to make their debut, it’s also time to introduce Martell Promotions.

With their love of indulgence and propensity toward the sensual, it’s only natural that the Martells would throw one hell of a party. And with their natural habitat being the desert climes of Dorne, they’d have no problem organizing a festival in the sun that would put Coachella to shame. Martell Promotions, then, is your go-to for all the best nightclubs, concerts, festivals, and VIP events, but their flagship festival is the annual Sunspear Fest — naturally culminating this year on April 12. Check out the poster below for the full lineup, and see if you recognize all of the acts. Tell us which ones are your favorites and who you’d like to see on the lineup for the next Martell event in the comments below!

Just one tip if you make it to Sunspear: Don’t try to take on the Mountain alone. It probably won’t go well. Martell Promotions designs by Jordan Roland.
