Master Interview Video Lighting: 2 Lights + 1 Reflector for a Theatrical Look

On this video, photographer Curtis Judd takes a look at the way he uses lights and a reflector to shoot a video interview scene.

If you are looking to shoot an interview, lighting is a prime consideration. You are not always in control over the location you shoot in for all sorts of reasons and so bringing you own lights and background can help a great deal in order to make your production look professional.

On the video Judd demonstrates his 3 main lighting components – the main light, a fill light (in this case a fill reflector) and a hair light and how he uses all three of them with the dark backdrop to create the finished look.
