Yesterday Leica announced a brand new limited-edition camera collaboration with the watch shop HODINKEE. The Ghost Edition Leica M10-P is a faded silver-and-gray camera inspired by a vintage watch owned by HODINKEE’s founder Ben Clymer. The top and bottom plates are coated in a matte gray paint, and the engravings are filled in with white. The body is wrapped in gray cowhide leather and it’s missing Leica’s iconic red dot logo.
On the inside, the M10-P Ghost Edition is identical to the standard M10-P. It’s built around a 24-megapixel sensor, features a super silent shutter, has a touchscreen LCD, ISO that tops out at 50,000 and WiFi capabilities. The camera comes paired with the very versatile Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH lens. The camera is available starting today, but is limited to 250 sets worldwide. Like most of Leica’s limited-edition cameras this one doesn’t come cheap. The Ghost Edition costs $14,995.00.
