On this video Photoshop expert Jesús Ramirez (from the Photoshop training channel) looks at creating a double exposure composite image with two colors.
We have already covered how to create double exposure in the past both in Photoshop and other software and in camera. This time around what Ramirez is doing is something a bit different looking into how to create a double exposure composite with 2 different colors.
The way Ramirez works in this video is by creating two set our group layers and each one has an adjustment layers for color and exposure with which he will play later on. Afterwards he brings an image for each group. After you bring in the images you need to change the color of each color layer to color and the blend mode of the top image to lighten. From here it is mostly playing with the exposure and the colors of both images to get the right composite.
You will want to choose opposite colors to make your composite image pop (If you don’t know what are the opposite colors of reds for example you can use the very useful Adobe free website to find out).
