On this video by photographer Anthony Morganti looks at a simple tip that will help you control the graduated filter much better in Adobe Lightroom.
The graduated filter in Lightroom (and Photoshop) is a great tool for changing the image parameters gradually across the shot (great for skies). On this video Morganti demonstrates a super simple way of making the graduated filter effect the entire image (but gradually of course).
All you need to do is choose the graduated filter and go to the corner and drag the tool outside the frame (see Morganti’s example in the video). In this way you can work on the entire image and make all the changes that you want but gradually.
