* Golden Hour: Early morning or late afternoon is perfect.
* Open Shade: Find a spot where your subject is shaded from direct sunlight (like under a tree or in the shadow of a building). This prevents harsh shadows and squinting.
* Inside: Stand near a window for soft, directional light. Consider sheer curtains to diffuse the light further.
