Skateboarders have long used action cameras to capture their tricks. Mounting a GoPro under the board for a low‑angle perspective is common, but Jelly Skateboards now offers a RiserBlock that integrates directly into the truck assembly and comes with a standard GoPro mount.
This product is part of an IndieGoGo campaign that launched Jelly’s new boards and their RiserBlocks. RiserBlocks are thin strips that fit between the trucks and the board, allowing riders to store small items or attach a GoPro.

- GoBlock – $20, includes threaded bolts for a standard GoPro.
- StashBlock – $30, designed for carrying small personal belongings.
The GoPro can be mounted facing forward or backward, at the front or back of the board, and even inside the trucks for a unique, transparent view.
While I’m not a professional skateboarder, the idea of a built‑in camera mount is an innovative addition that could enhance the filming experience.
