As parts of the country are starting to see the first snows of the year, how about an appropriately winter themed camera to go alongside the worsening weather? Fujifilm Japan has announced a limited-edition white version of the Fujifilm X-A1, and only 1,000 of them will be made.

The white X-A1 will come with not only a special, white body, but also a white leather body cover and strap, and both 27mm f/2.8 and 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 lenses.

This limited edition set is currently available for pre-order for 89,980 yen, or around $900. Given that the X-A1 goes for $600 with the 16-50mm lens, and the 27mm f/2.8 lens has a street price of $450, for once a limited edition set is actually a really good value. You wouldn’t just be paying a huge premium for having a slightly different color — it’s a legitimately good bundle price. The rare white body is a bonus.
