This week Fujifilm unveiled the X-T30, a new APS-C mirrorless camera that has many of the same features as the high-end X-T3, but for a fraction of the price.
The X-T30 is built around the same 26.1MP X-Trans sensor and X-Processor 4 Quad Core-CPU as the X-T3, weighs 13.51 oz, and promises some improvements to autofocus, especially in low light conditions. Here is what else we know about the camera:

- 100 percent phase detect AF across entire frame
- 425 selectable AF points
- 20 fps in continuous AF mode
- Face and eye detection AF with a new Face Selection option
- 2.36M-dot OLED EVF
- 3 inch 1.04M-dot 2-way tilting Touch LCD with smooth and fast drag controls
- 4K.30p, Full HD 120fps, H.264 compression for video
- 1 SD UHS-I card slot
- Built-in WiFi and Bluetooth for easy sharing
- USB-C
- External HDMI recording capabilities
- Available in March, body only for $899, $999 when bundled with XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS Power Zoom, or $1299 when bundled with 18-55mm F2.8-4.
In addition to the X-T30 Fujifilm aslo has a new lens on the way: the Fujinon XF 16mm f/2.8 R WR. This fast aperture prime lens has a compact design and an internal focusing system and stepping motor for super quiet and fast auto-focus. Here is what else we know about it.
