This tutorial will demonstrate how to create a simple animated GIF using Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
Step 1: Create Your Images
1. Open Adobe Photoshop.
2. Create a new document with the desired dimensions for your GIF.
3. Design your image or images. You can use any tools you like, including shapes, text, and images.
4. Save each image as a separate file in the PNG format.
Step 2: Import Your Images into After Effects
1. Open Adobe After Effects.
2. Click on the "File" menu and select "Import" > "File..."
3. Navigate to the folder where you saved your images and select them.
4. Click on the "Open" button.
Step 3: Create Your Timeline
1. Drag and drop your images from the "Project" panel onto the "Timeline" panel.
2. Position the images on the timeline in the desired order.
Step 4: Adjust Your Timing
1. Click on the "Timeline" menu and select "Time Stretch" > "Fit to Duration..."
2. In the "Fit to Duration" dialog box, enter the desired duration for each image.
3. Click on the "OK" button.
Step 5: Export Your GIF
1. Click on the "File" menu and select "Export" > "Add to Render Queue..."
2. In the "Render Queue" dialog box, select the "Format" as "Animated GIF"
3. Click on the "Render" button.
4. Save your GIF in the desired location.
Your animated GIF is now complete. You can view it by opening it in a web browser or image viewer.
