Today we continue our series of video editing tips here on LensVid in cooperation with PSkiss – a developer of Photoshop and Camera Raw filters, profiles and presets. This time we take a look at a tricky problem – how to select and enhance greens in your images.
If you are a nature or landscape photographer there is a very good chance that you faced this issue in the past. You have a potentially great image but the greens are just not vivid enough. Selecting the greens can – in some cases prove to be difficult – the reason is that what might look green to your eyes could be composed of more colors and that is why when you go to select>color range and choose green – you might not get exactly what you are looking for.
On this video PSkiss founder and CEO Tal Ninio shows a quick way of selecting the greens and than increase the contrast and brightness by using an adjustment layer and how you can make sure that only the specific areas that you want to be effected (for example the grass and not the sky), will be effected.
