Master Lightroom's Painter Tool (Spray Can): Quick Tips & Techniques

This video tip by photographer Anthony Morganti will show you how to use the spray can function in Adobe Lightroom and what it can do to save you time.

Near the bottom of the screen in Lightroom you can find (in the Library Module) spray icon which Adobe decided to call the Painter Tool. If you don’t see it – press the T to toggle the bottom bar on and off.

The painter tool was designed so you can load the tool with data and spray it on specific image to add this data onto them. You can add things such as labels flags, keywords etc. This is a very simple way to add lots of keywords for example to a large number of images.
