Master Rating, Ranking & Flagging Photos in Adobe Lightroom 5: Step-by-Step Guide

On this video tutorial, photographer Terry White ate and mark your photos in Lightroom 5.

There are 3 main ways of rating ranking and marking your photos (for good/bad). There are no rules here – you can choose whatever works for you, but try and keep things consistent.

On this video White shows his personal way of rating. He first determine who is the “costumer” who is the image intended for (personal use or someone else) and adds a flag. White has colors for each potential user of the image (including models, hair stylists and of course paying costumers).
