Naming your photography business is hard. You shouldn’t rush the process. Instead, when you are fed up with brainstorming about names, stop and do something that shakes up your creative energy.
Now, according to our cliche generator, I should name my photography business ‘Gorgeous Pictures’. Even though it’s very general, I like it!
I wish I would be able to abbreviate it! But ‘GP’ would remind everyone of their medical doctor or the Grand Prix.
This website is called ExpertPhotography. If I tell you the name of my website, do you get a general sense of what the website is about? You do because I’ve used an important keyword in the title. It might not be a flashy name or give off any vibes of beauty, but it does the job.
The generated names might sound nice. But they don’t tell a potential customer what you’re about. The customer isn’t looking for the fanciest or the catchiest name. They are looking for something that’s easy to remember and says something about your business.
Call me old fashioned, but I see nothing wrong with ‘First name Last name Photography’ as a business title. If you have a certain niche you’re specializing in, then throw that in for good measure.
The names for our generator are broken down into three sections:
- A positive adjective.
- Something pretty or colourful.
- A funny way of saying photo/photography.
Even though this post is only for entertainment, you might get inspired. Plus, the best names are sometimes completely unexpected. Think about Apple and how our first association is not the fruit anymore.
