Our company is still teeming with excitement after celebrating our eight year anniversary a few short weeks ago. The team here at Lemonlight is more motivated than ever and businesses like UpCity are taking note of our blossoming success this year.
UpCity, a reputable resource that helps over 1.5 million businesses choose the most trustworthy B2B service providers, just announced their annual Local and National Excellence awards for the year. We aren’t even halfway through the year, so we’re overjoyed to be selected as a National Excellence award recipient, not to mention, for the third year in a row!
Given how easy it is for anybody to review any business these days, UpCity created the “Recommendability Rating” as an alternative, thorough process to determine the validity of reviews.
UpCity’s Recommendability Rating requires so much more than just the simple blue check verification process used for social media. The rating takes a variety of factors into account such as engagement, quality, and quantity of reviews which all help UpCity objectively decide who is credible and most recommend-able. More than 84,000 businesses were reviewed this year (up 17% from last year) and only 150 businesses were selected.
While it’s truly an honor to be among the top 1% of UpCity service providers on the National level, UpCity also awarded us with the Local Excellence award. Although Excellence is our number one priority, community engagement is extremely important to us; to be so highly regarded by businesses in our backyard means just as much to us as being recognized on the national level.
We have been able to maintain a nearly-perfect rating of 4.9 for over a year thanks to the reviews our wonderful clients submitted. Here is a review from one of our favorite clients:
