It’s not often that we post sample images from a camera or lens that we didn’t actually shoot, but there has been a ton of talk about the new super-fast Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED Lens and what kind of bokeh it’s capable of. Now, Nikon has posted some official smaples and, as you might expect, the blur is in full effect.
There are seven images in total, a few of which I’m posting here. They’re not super-high-res and it’s unclear how much processing they have received (though, it doesn’t look like much), but that bokeh does look very clean and pleasing.
We’re looking forward to getting our hands on this as soon as possible, but this will have to do for now.
