2. Import your text. Go to File > Import > File and select the text file you want to animate. In the Import File dialog box, select Adobe After Effects Text as the import format.
3. Create a text layer. Drag the text file from the Project panel to the Timeline panel. A new text layer will be created.
4. Select the letters you want to animate. In the Timeline panel, click on the text layer to select it. Then, use the Selection tool (V) to select the individual letters you want to animate.
5. Create a new animation. In the Timeline panel, click on the Animate button (a small diamond icon) next to the text layer. A new animation will be created.
6. Set the animation properties. In the Timeline panel, click on the Properties button (a small gear icon) next to the animation. The Animation Properties dialog box will open. In this dialog box, you can set the animation properties, such as the duration, easing, and starting point.
7. Preview the animation. Click on the Play button (a small triangle icon) in the Timeline panel to preview the animation.
8. Render the animation. When you are satisfied with the animation, click on the Render button (a small camera icon) in the Timeline panel to render the animation. The animation will be rendered as a video file.
